Come Ride With Us

We’d love to have you participate in one of our upcoming adaptive bike rides. Our events are designed to provide a fun, safe, and inclusive space for special needs families to connect, share joyful moments, and find a special connection together.

Here’s how it works:

Before scheduling a ride, it’s important that you take a minute to review the Liability Waiver. You will be required to sign it before anyone can participate in our events. If you have any questions, you can contact us.
Take a moment to fill out the form on this page to choose an event date to tell us about your rider and any special accommodations. We'll reach out within two days with an available time slot for your ride. And yes, the rides are free!
Our riding events take place at Northfield Park, River Legacy Park, or Bob Eden Park. The specific location will be listed when you sign up.
When you arrive, look for our black utility trailer with a Special Connections sign in the parking lot.
You will be required to sign the Liability Waiver before the ride begins. Each ride lasts approximately 25 minutes. Siblings are welcome to join in on the ride too. We also offer wheelchairs, wagons, and other mobility fun, and the playground is nearby.
After the ride, each participant will be given the opportunity to choose a free sensory toy before you head home.

Who can ride?

Rides are open to all, regardless of disability or age. For safety, each bike is equipped with both a regular seat belt and an adaptive seat belt for those with mobility challenges. Additionally, the adaptive rickshaw bike allows a second passenger, such as a sibling or parent, to join the ride, with a combined weight limit of 300 lbs.

We ask that you do your best to arrive at your assigned date and time. We understand that life happens, so please email us if you will be late.

Need to cancel?

If you need to cancel, please email us as soon as possible so someone else can enjoy the ride. We’re always happy to reschedule you if needed!

What if the weather is bad?

While we can’t guarantee perfect riding weather every time, we will cancel if the temperature drops below 50 degrees, there are high winds, or if it’s raining. You’ll receive an email and text notification at least 2 hours before the ride begins if we need to cancel. Let’s hope the weather stays perfect for every ride!
